Vacuuming is one of the most common household chores, not generally something we look forward to doing. I tried to think of ways to redesign the appliances used in this chore to make this a less dreaded task. Many things entered my train of thought, mixing it in with things we tend to do that we enjoy. Things that came to mind were TV, Radio, browsing the internet, etc.
As I thought on this more and more, I realised that maybe it's not the lack of additional/external entertainment that is the problem. You can already do some of these things (Radio/TV) while cleaning the house, but it is often hampered by the noise the vacuum makes while you work. The aspect of work itself being another problem, it is work; work can be hard to enjoy no matter what you do, while you're doing it.
So I came up with something that I think may not only be something that can be enjoyed, but also make the task of vacuuming easier, thus hopefully making it even more 'entertaining'.
My idea was to convert a Segway scooter into a vacuum cleaner, with optional hose attachment for those hard to reach places. This could not only make the task of vacuuming easier, but it could also shorten the time it takes to do. The hose would also be handy for cleaning stairs, since the contraption travels on wheels and not legs, which may make that the main downfall of this device.

I also realised that the same idea could be transferred to other chores, such as mowing the lawn. I came up with a similar design which could save on power, as the mower attachment used would be a simple manual rotary design.

You could of course just sell the device as standalone and then sell each attachment separately as a snap-on accessory. This would likely increase the cost of the device, though, by making it compatible with each standalone attachment.
On a final note, I think this was a successful first attempt, at making something most people hate, a little more fun.
